Process for Resource Booklet
You will use the blank booklets provided for you. Use one page for each example of figurative language. Include the definition, the example you found online, your own example (write your own, be creative and use the things and people you know best), and then write the real meaning of the example you created.
Each person in your group will take two types to look up and then share with the other members of your group.
1. Label each page with the type of figurative language.
2. Define each type using an online source.
3. Write an example of figurative language using an online or offline source.
4. Write your own example for each type of figurative language. Be creative and use things/people that you are familiar with! Then write the real meaning of the example you created.
5. Draw a picture to show the literal meaning. (Example: It's raining cats and dogs! Draw a picture of rain coming down from the sky with rain drops that are cats and dogs.)
